My first submission..

I just recorded this little ditty and posted it in the fostex forum. It was a little ditty I wrote using the fostex Mr-8 to test it out and get to know it a little better. Just bass direct into the recorder with a Boss Dr-5 drum syth track. Let me know what ya think. It was sure fun! Fire away!

..maybe you should replace the left-sided hihats with some more realistic..?

Thanks for listening, would it help to pan the high hats to the right? Perhaps my drumm machine is left handed?:)
 
not bad at all for just checking it out to see if it works. That was some really athletic bass plucking too man. Your 2nd and 3rd fingers are really strong, i heard you warbling those two note trills... reminded me a little of a direction Stanley C went off to for a while. You do have some noise in the loop somewhere to deal with. I realize you were direct into the machine so you know where some control with a compressor could go. Those drums you used arent bad but I`d can that artificial sounding high hat. it sounds like there is some eq competition going on between the drums and the bass in the low mid region, things get kinda cloudy. It sounds like you gonna have some fun with your new toys. :)

I have always been a fan of Stanley C. Yeah It is hard for me to tell where the noise is coming from that song is so cut and pasted together. Thanks for the feedback:)
