That sounded good enough that I just bought a matched pair.

Yeah.....'me 3'!

They sound great. Can't wait to try them out!

Thanks zbert and thanks again SMC.

I'm guessing that now would be a bad time to make a joke about having really used DPA omnis for the test, huh? :D

that would be funny. Nice playing by the way.

Psssst,
Don't tell the missus but I bought one of these little things.
Oh, if anyone out there has good ears could you drop in on my mic comparison (nothing as nice as these) & tell me which one does best?

I just got my MSH-1A stereo kit today!!!

I just did a quick test with them as drum overheads and I am blown away by the quality of the little mic's!!!

When I get my drummer back in the studio I'll have him play a little something and try and post it for ya'll.

I am so psyched to have these mic's!!!

After reading all this and e-mailing Mshillarious, I bought a matched pair.
For the sound quality and price point, I haven't found anything else that's even close.

This is my 1st post here.

Welcome to the boards. This was a good one to get on for your first post.

That's a really nice recording of some really nice playing Timothy! I'm jealous! I'm gonna have to check out msh's mics. Maybe they'll make me sound as good! (yeah right!) :D

joined the board because of this post..so first of all, helloooooooooooo.

my favorite microphone came with my mom's dell computer. i'm thinking the MSH-1A will sound like my mom's dell microphone on vitamins and steroids (i'm sure it will sound better, but i'm afraid i'll use it too much).

now i'm gonna try to find a couple mics that will complement the MSH-1A...anyone got any suggestions? budget was originally $750+...now i might be able to do it under $100...ha... thanks for this post!

Watch out because these mic's have an LED warning light and circuit breaker that activates if digital verb is used during tracking. :D [sorry... that's a personal joke between Ray and me]

Recordingpro and Eddie Ray, thanks for the compliments.

All you guys getting these mic's are going to be glad you did.

I'm not on commission BTW. :D
