What happened to the MSH-3?
Still on the drawing board, and it might stay there, at least it will for a few months

I usually use Schoeps mk41s for guitar. Their narrow pattern is handy and they’re very quiet. Comparisons…. The MSH1A also has a very sweet high end, though being an omni it’s got a bigger and more natural sounding low end. I really noticed its transient response – other low cost mic’s I’ve used, even if they can sound good otherwise, tend to have a less smooth transient response than my better mic’s. Not so here. No clankiness, no harsh edge at all, but good detail still. They do have a slightly audible noise floor with a quiet source like this test but to me it’s unobtrusive and an OK trade-off for the mic’s sweet sound.“how would you compare it to your regular setup?”

Any word on shipping to europe?
). See the link below! It is a few bucks cheaper than eBay. eBay's fees are fast approaching punitive
, so I pass my savings on to you!

gummblefish said:These things are so cheap i could fly you all over for a weekend, get fucked up on copious amounts of drugs and booze and still have change left over. Though it may be wiser to buy that U47 that i always wanted. Maybe not as fun though. In all seriousness though, is there shipping to uk on these?
Naiant Studio ships worldwide; however, the shopping cart is only set up to bill US shipping charges. You will be billed for additional shipping charges. Shipping for items other than the stereo bar to most international locations is usually $5.25. Shipping for the stereo bar to most international locations is $14.
I have to laugh because I've been there.Dan Micah said:how rugged are the mics? I need a pair of sdc for piano, o/h and guitar recording at the high school I teach at. While the recording class is only for a select group of senior students, kids aren't always gentle with equipment - will they survive a bit of rough handling?...
In a situation like that I'd think the highest risk would be students simply losing the mic's, since they're so small. A barrel extension between the mic and cable, left on the mic permanently, would solve that (especially if it was bright orange
) Or, well, just paint the mic's themselves orange to avoid this scenario... [10 minutes before showtime] "Mr. Micah!! Mr. Micah!!! we can't find the microphones!!!!!! [9 1/2 minutes later] "Oh wait... there they are. We left them on the cables when we coiled them up after the last show!"
