MPC 2000xl or Korg Triton

I need help guys I'm going to produce hip hop and r & b, heavy on the 808 basslines, I'm trying to figure out which set up will go the longest way for the money I will spend

1.Korg Triton or
2. MPC 2000xl with the proteus 2000 expanded with the Pure Phatt and X Lead chips, I probably will get them both eventually, but which should I get first and WHY?

If you play KEYS - the obvious would be the TRITON
sequencer- patches - on screen mix - storage - sounds galore
(wiping my hands clean)


that was simple enough


especially if you play keys, the TRITON goes further cause you play, but you could also add the others to it and use it as the master to control the other units.
