Looking for sweet deals on the following:

1) A Mackie 1402 VLZ PRO (1202 if price is fantastic) or a Soundcraft M series.
2) Headphone distribution amps
3) Countryman Type 85 DI box
4) Delta 1010 or better
5) Good mics (Sennheisers and Beyers make me horny)
6) Good preamps

More stuff thats not coming to me right now. Will add to this list soon.

I've got a Rane MH4 headphone distribution amp I'll sell for $100 + actual shipping costs.

the thing is, the gear you listed is things that when bought, are usually kept because of the value...

you may have better luck looking for a Behringer board, a 3630 compressor, a SB soundcard, a Presonus Blue Tube preamp, etc....the pattern here is low cost, but leaves you wanting more soon and ready to sell....

I've got two samson mics, a posthole digger and a radio controlled airplane I can letcha have cheap. :D

I have a dbx 386 stereo/tube/digital mic pre...we can talk price.

I have either an AT 4033 or an AT4040 (brand new) that I will be parting with in the next two weeks.

I could be talked out of my AKG C414B/ULS with the $100 shock mount...if the price is right. I have not used it much these days....OK. I have not recorded anything but live to CDR this year....small dia. cond. all the rage for that.

Email me if you want to.

Where'd the new 4040 come from? I can't even find a price yet.

Sweetwater has them... I made this guy an offer, dunno if he is gonna sell it or not though... hopefully he will...

Just found it for $299 at music123.

Kinda ticks me off cause I would've held out for an LD over the 4033.

Well, when I saw the 1st ad in Tapeop last month, I decided to buy one right on the spot. Havent even heard it or even heard anything about it, but somehow I have this gut feeling that tells me to buy the damn thing, which is highly unusual for me. According to sweetwater, it is a 2 micron diapragm, which is both cool and scary at thesame time. Wonder how well they are accomplishing the 2 micron task and if they are all over the charts or consistent. Stephen Paul specialty is really thin diapragms, and as far as I knew no one else could get under 3 microns succesfully and/or consistently other than him.
I made dude an offer, waiting to hear from him on it. If I obtain one I'll let you know what I think. Seems to have a huge spike in the high end area according to the graphs.

C'mon guys, gimmee a Delta 1010, a Countryman and some Tannoy Reveals...

I have a Mackie 1402 with the SKB (new) case.....Martind2r@attbi.com...
