I just want to know what monitors would be the best bang for my buck for use on the top story of an apartment....

also what computer would be best for the pro tools le with mbox 2

What's your budget for your monitors? The choices are endless...

The new Genelec's are looking (and sounding) good but they are not cheap and you may not be looking for that kind of quality.

M-Audio do a nice little pair, Dx4 actives, but the bass response could be a limiting factor.

Hi ShellShock, Bob Ludwig is using Ivy speaker... (price??? don't ask me ). One of Bob Clearmountain speaker is NS10...

I think these will be the best bang for your buck... However, there are hundreds of good speakers out there. Again what's your budget like?

Monitors: Event ASP8, Dynaudio BM5a/BM6a are good choices.
Computer wise, it really depends, are you more familiar with mac or pc?
