Monitors sensitive to vibration?

My new Edirol MA10-DBK monitors' manual says I should not use them in an area with high vibration. They're going to be behind a drum kit sometimes, in front of it at other times. My bass amp is also in the room. The thing is, I have some really old, clunky speakers in the room that have been there for years with tons of vibration, and they're fine. Should I be concerned about the vibration levels around my monitors?

Also, if anyone can answer this: My computer will be in the same room as well. Is there any risk of rattling out PCI cards, drives, etc?
 
Your hard drive(s) will take the most damage. The could get fucked up from the large amount of vibration. I'm not sure about the monitors.
 
You know, that's exactly what I was thinking: monitors PRODUCE vibrations, so why the hell would they be damaged by them? Sounds like a load of crap to me.

As for the hard drives, what would you suggest in terms of isolating them a little bit? I'm not hugely concerned about this, because there is another computer in the room that does just fine. But I'd like to know my options, just in case.
