well a little, but it won't get you totally flat. Just depends on your room and how strategic you get with absorption and diffussion.
The best advice I can give you (trying to keep it simple) is that your biggest problem is going to be your front-to-back, side-to-side, and top-to-bottom walls.
Acoustics gets alot more complex, but if you can kind of grasp that, then I would recommend some reading on room modes. we might be 10 years apart, but I was once an intelligent 12 year old myself.
