Yeah, well I know it's not great but hey, I can leave it in my car get some sounds out of it and fuck around with a drum machine.

I don't want it for direct recording, it's going to be living either in my car or at the schools music room.

But i thank you for your concerns

Dwarf,
exactly - you have something to help you prac. that's the point & at that price you're laughing.

Have a PODxt and I hate it, for me the tones are too synthetic aand inorganic.

Have a Digitech GNX3 - IMO much better than the POD for tone but still missing something...

Have a Boss GT-Pro my favourite of the three by far, the tones are convincing and have greater depth

Don't know about the others that you mentioned but I've heard good things about VOX gear.

The V-Amp is definitely a lot better than some people are giving it credit for.. and by that I mean it rules. I have used it on about 90% of the material here: www.metalhq.com

well the Sansamp has no Headphones....

and personally I despise Line6 modellers... I have tried the Pod 2 and Pod XTLive and I really don't like them... so I wouldn't get that...

The Behringer ones are pretty good value though... the Vamp models get really really good reviews - I would say get the Behringer out of those choices.

Those mp3 samples you posted of that band are horrible.... shows exactly why the Pod is crap - the guitars are horrific!

I actually own a Boss GT8 I would say that is the best... BUT you have a GT6 are chucking that so it's pointless...

why don't you like taking it to school? too much effort?

yEAH it's just a pain in the ass. I can fit the RP80 into my bag/car and it runs off batteries as well. SO for what I need it for it does the job (should be recieving it soon)
