Ive got to ques about mixing. My first ques is regarding vocals,I want to know how to make my vocals sound more full and also how to harmonize them.Usually i just add a little reverb to them, but what else can i add to make um sound more professional? Now my other question is regarding midi recording,Ive created a beat but i cant seem to get the bass right, either its sounds too low or too high, and the fact that i don't have studio monitors makes it more difficult.I'm using logitech desktop speakers x240 for my playback. What is a good DB level for midi bass And Vocals? Also how many vocals should i record to get that full professional sound. i just want everything to sound good on a cd

Best way to harmonize vocals is to over dub with harmony. If you can sing harmony parts you can use tools like Melodyne. Here is an article to help to acheive better vocals Acheiving Better Vocals
For bass, there are tons of articles and Youtube videos to help you. Let's see if you can do your own homework with this one by useing Google. Good luck!

With those speakers, the best any of us could possibly hope for is to take a blind guess at the bass level, burn a CD, take another blind guess, burn a CD, and so on. You need new speakers.

That's impossible to answer. It's like a football running back asking "How many steps do I run before I juke?"

You adjust the vocal volume until it sounds good. You adjust the bass volume until it sounds good. That brings us back to the speaker issue...

You only need one. More can be used if desired.

could you use autotune instead of melodyne for harmony or is one better than the other

Melodyne or autotune for harmony? Why don't you just sing the right harmony?

There is something odd here. You want to "get that full professional sound" and for "everything to sound good on a cd", but you are "using logitech desktop speakers x240 for my playback" and you want to "make my vocals sound more full and also how to harmonize them."

Getting full vocals and good harmonies is all in the performance. They should sound good all by themselves, without any effects. If they don't, then you need to practice more.

As the others have said, your speakers are letting you down. They will not reproduce accurately what you are recording, so it will always be a guessing game.

What you are asking is like someone with a Morris Minor and only a few miles under their belt wanting to go as fast or as slick as Schumacher in a Ferrari.
