Mixer and speakers

I am using a mixer for recording and playing through but I also D.J. The mioxer I have been using for sound is Behringer UB1622FX-PRO, not the greatest but it is serving it's purpose. My question is, I am getting some new speakers and they aren't powered. I was wondering if I ran my dj setup into the Behringer if that would work with out buying a power amp.
