I was told that I had unlimited bandwidth.....If this becomes a problem...I will contact our web developer to clerify things....
 
NL5, just gave it a listen in the basement.
Sounds nice.
You dont have all the guitars in but it sounds full.
The bass guitar sounds week at times. There are a few places that you could ride the feeders on the vocals.

That stick hit on the tom rolls at 02:36 has always bothered me but with the kick sound it kind of masks it.

Now that the files are on another server, I don't really have a problem.....just slow.....thanks for the offer though!!!! :D

I will REALLY need your guys (and gals) ears when I post a mix since this will be my first project in my new basement studio with my new Wharfedales...

This will help me phase out any audio phantoms that might exist...

Just gotta give this thread a bump.

It was a nice long 3 day weekend. So I was not on the computer a lot over the weekend.
Back to work :mad: , but I'm on the pc most of the day.


bigwillz24 and CGibson ill try to take a listen before lunch.

There doesnt seem to be a lot of interest in it.
Is it due to the holiday weekend or the style of music.

Could be that folks are shying away from the style...

I welcome the chance to work on something outside of my normal listening venues... I tinkered a little last night in my 20 minute honey-do break :o

Hopefully I'll have a mix to post in the next day or so...

Perdicament Nice job. I like what you did with the guitars on the breakdown.
I'm hot sure if I like the FX on the vocals in the breakdown.


bigwillz24 I like the vocals but they could come out just a bit more. Also I think the low end needs to be cleaned up a bit. Also overall volume of the mix is very low.

CGibson Same as bigwillz24. Vocals are a bit buried and too much low end.


I could be wrong because I'm not a big fan of this style of music. I was having a hard time mixing that's why I put it away for a month and decided to put it up for a contest.

Yeah I'm not sure if the vocals in this type song are the main focal point. I listened to it later and heard the low end and low volume and was like maybe I should'nt have mixed this with my laptop speakers at work. :D
