Mix of a very short song (1:15)

Hello,

I just did a mix of a "song" that I wrote about 10 years ago. Left it on the back-burner for a long time because - well - it's 75 seconds long.

Hello,

Actually, if you take away the 16 second intro and 10 second fade out, its about 55 seconds.

Its catchy and kinda fun. It also needs developed. Ya gotta do SOMETHING with it, unless it is sort of a novelty track. It has no persistent ideas.

Haha thanks man. I guess this would be the song for you then. It's definitely meant to be a novelty song. It actually goes over quite well when we play it live.

Is there something I can do to improve the mix? I thought maybe the drums were a little severe, or the vocals weren't peeking out enough. But, if it sounds good to people then I'm cool with that

I just changed the end a bit where I lopped off the long drawn out chord and replaced it with a short "button" ending. I think it highlights the word "bitch" more.

I agree with David. I would develop the song somemore. Add a chorus and a bridge, and you'll have something. If you've said all you need to with the lyric, maybe a change of topic would facilitate more ideas. I think the music is great, and deserves more... just more!!
