Mineral Wool Vs. OC703 safety issues

I know that these are fairly similar in acoustical properties. My question is, which one is more SAFE. Obviously I know that fiberglass is no good as far as skin contact and breathing in airborn fibers.

Is mineral wool the sam :confused: e, or is it pretty much completely harmless to people??

MIneral wool is "safer" in pretty much every way. It is VERY flame resistant, and is approved for "open air" installs, so it can't be that bad. Of course, fibreglass has never been proven to be that harmful either. I would ust go with mineral wool, wrap it in cloth and you will be fine!
