I`m at work. o I`ll oo it soo mmmmmmddddtils later.

great work, soli souuuuin as allways, I just love our drumming both soun and style creep. Really oustanding, and the bass is just so FAT, gitars a cool as well.

Maybe is just my set of work monitors Berries :D , but the main vox are a bit dry  :) maybe some verb could be added.
I`d also like to hea the first verse exited up a bit maybe doubled with your high pitch vox in the background.

I will listen thoroughly when I come home, and give you a better review.

last word Great work, I`m proud to know you guys. :)

Thanks again, folks!!!!

I should point out that the 'dip' that can be heard in the vocals (the whole song really) in the second half of the verses is due to the mp3 conversion. My wave version sounds fine in that regard.

Tim--It's almost hard to say whether the meters were by design or feel. Super and I were getting ready to jam/goof off/write one night and the first thing I played when I picked up the guit was that verse riff. It felt like an odd time when I played it, but I had to stop and figure out in my head that it came out to 7's. I'm really glad you picked up on the slight timing problem with the lone guitar (it's actually doubled) at the beginning of the bridge/instrumental section. It's bothered me for a while. To me, the second time I play the single-note run down is correct; but that first one is a little off time. I'm definetely re-doing it now!! Thank you for listening so closely.

Naka--thanks for the FAT bass comment. I've long held that the bass doesn't have to be low and deep and boomy to be fat. I usually go for a very present sound, if possible.

RAMI--glad you enjoyed this. It's kind of a weird song. I'll certainly be listening to the low mids at this point. Just keep in mind that the mp3 version is. . . well. . . different. Mostly of lesser quality.

And yes the vocals are dry as a bone as of yet. No gate, no verb, no compression, no eq. It doesn't need too much really, maybe some slight verb???? We'll edit the breath at the beginning eventually, but I don't think it needs gating. We may fidget with the drums some more, and I'm still wondering about the guit mix--just a hair to quiet maybe???

Too much to respond too. . . And I tend to ramble . . . .

I`m sorry about all the typos in my earlier post, the keyboard in my workspace has really been acting strange lately.
I wasent drinkin :D

Anyway listening again, and I really love the tune, the suff you guys produce is very high end.
I really dig your sound, especially the bass and drums.

Your starting to sound like Yes did on theire Yes album, in the rythm section.

After listening again I would really love to hear some verb on this, I think the voice is just a bit to dry.

The song itself is very catchy and very Yes like as well in parts, early yes I might add.

The synth is allright, I would like it a bit more wild maybe, a bit more frenetic, it would pherhaps add a suprising touch to the tune.

This is just me thinking out loud, your song sounds great and I`ll shut up now.

Great work both of you :)

bump, not finnished with this one yet. :D
Listened to it on repeat for an hour yesterday, exelent stuff

supercreep and incanus are the super heroes of home recording. :D defying all acoustic boundaries..........

Did a quick listen before heading off today, the wife`s birthday today, So I`m kinda buissy.
I could hear some difference on the vox, I think it sounded good.
The refrain and later parts of the song sounded very good, I still think the opening single vox is a bit to dry, unless thats what your going for.

I`ll come back with a better evaluation tommorrow :)

Not sure what all you did, but it seems to have a bit more punch throughout it. Drums seem to really have some nice snap, and the bass has a bit more punch. Nice sounds. I was reading Naka's post, and I am kind of teh opposite. I like the naturalness of the main vox. See, listening to us will cause massive headaches....
Also, it seems the cymbals have a bit more ring in this version. Did you do something there, or just my imagination.

Anyway, nice tune guys. Really nice.
Ed

Bumpin it

Btw what is your Bass chain?
Love the sound incanus gets :)

Supercreep,
Double plus good. Just the thing to do the old ultraviolence to after drinking down at the Moloko - a nice change from the Ludwig Van
The things you did did the thing as it's not damaged at all by a little playing with.
WELL DONE.
NowhereRadio is a tad slow on the download side - or is my adsl clapping out again.
Did you find any Starcastle? Canada late 70's - Citadel was THE album.
Cheers
rayC
PS - nice splash with the cymbals.
