Sounds like you need a trained monkey to strip and tin all those stinking wires. That's like, 1700 wire connections
My setup is somewhat simpler. I've got 3-48 point patchbays that don't require soldering (toss up; simplicity versus reliability). Of those 3 patchbays, one bay has 36 points used, a second one has 4 points used, and the third plugs a hole in a rack. Of course, this also tells the story that I only have a small handful of outboard components (lets see, a 2-channel preamp, 2 FX processors, a compressor, and a synth module; I also have a small Tascam mixer that I use the 8 direct outs for general purpose preamps). It works, but has it's limitations.
Anyway, sounds like we know what you will be doing for the next (insert number) weeks
