midi problem

hope every one had a nice and enjoyable xmass
and hoping your new year would be even better
i wish every one prosperity and a rewarding new year that will bring the joy the fun and most of all the blessing to be plentyfull for every one in 2010.

problem at hand
im using a yamaha sy77 plug via usb direct to my computer
and it played for quite some times without problem
but at the moment im experiencing some problem wich i cant get to figure out why

when im in the omega soundcard i cant get to trigger the sound in hallion one or any vsti in cubase4
when i use asio4 all i get to trigger the sound
but my whole set up is on the lexicon omega
how can i get to trigger the sound in the omega soundcard its driving me crazy cause i dont know what and how to go about it to get it working again.

i'm wondering if we have a communication problem... i dont think the omega has sounds on board... this confirms... http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Omega ... so guessing further whether you are running the sy77 through the omega or not the vsti is setup essentially the same from within cubase... so check your midi inputs on the track you're recording... make sense???

the yamaha is conected in via usb thru the computer
that mean i dont us midi thru the omega
when i use reason 4 i dont have that problem
so i think its a configuration problem
but im yet to find where that problem is
its looking like i have to uninstall window wich i dont
feel like at this moment.
if i can get someone that had that problem before
and get a solution for it would be great.

does the keyboard show up under devices tab in cubase??
