Hi ya'll!
I am new at Home Recording and frankly going brain dead at the options!
Been reading and researching for 100 + hours and could use some experience!
What I am looking for:
1. Budget $250.00 or less.
2. User friendly with Mapping of major DAW's. A Controller that "Plays well with other's". I have Ableton Lite (came with the Focusrite AI), plan on purchasing Reaper and will probably upgrade to another DAW(s) later. Seems most of us do anyway. I expect "tweaking and poking" but would like to keep it to a minimum.
3. I am finding Keyboard MIDI's that are tailored to certain DAW's. A MIDI with other included software would be nice.
4. Current considerations are:
Novation Launchkey 49. Some reports of issues with Reaper however.
Akai MPK 49.
M Audio Oxygen 49. Mk IV.
Behringer UMA series.
Price range for the above is 160 to 250.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
