Hey, Samich.
I wasn't trying to be insulting or start a debate, I was trying to share something I've noticed about this forum. No, there is no rule that you can't use it to increase your hit count on mp3.com.
However, if you are obviously trying to increase your hit count, or you appear to be, you probably won't get very many listens or comments. Or much respect.
I was pointing it out because I figured you'd want to know how your post might make you look in the eyes of the excellent reviewers here in the Clinic. When you reposted a song that you have already posted (which I believe was hosted at NoWhere) on mp3.com and ask us to help push the song to #1 it looks as though you aren't interested in our feedback, just our hit counts.
Regardless of your intention, that's how it looks.
I don't know if I would be interested in spending 15 minutes downloading your song and listening to it if you weren't really interested in my comments. Or paying much attention to any other songs that you post here.
I figured that wasn't how you wanted to come across to the folks who listen here in the clinic. That's why I let you know.
Chris
