Micing tin whistle and low whistle

Any tips on micing these instruments? I have found the low whistle particularly difficult to get a good sound from. The difficulty is getting the rich sound without too much of the breathiness - would prefer not to rely on eq for this!

Any tips welcome.

PS I have at my disposal a Rode NT1 and a Rode NTK

I'd advise borrowing a ribbon mic.
