Metal dude
I set up my room yesterday for vocals(moving the amps out of the room) and noticed that by wobbling my feet or just stepping foward/back of the mic that the mic stand (tripod)wobbles a bit. Im worried if this is going to cause anything that i dont what audio wise while tracking???? I think the problem may be that i have these large carpet tiles(6x7) on top of the carpet on the floor. Possible their not completly flat, and thats where the prob could be steming from . But to remove these i got to move the drum set and im not really into that.(lazy/ small room) Anything i can do?

Agreed, tensimount's are great. Couldn't use the Oktava 012's without 'em.

Looks like a good deal, but it looks like elastics hold the mic, how?
it only holds up to 1.75" in dia. My cad(m37) may not fit.

Check out the site - they have an adapter for big mics.

Thanks for this info - I didn't know about these guys -- this is great!

Wow, I was about to spend $50 (counting shipping) on a shockmount for my Oktava mc 012. What a find! This alone is worth my membership fee for this forum. :)
At $12, I'll buy one of these for for each of my stage mic's too. Then people will really hear what I sound like........hmm, maybe I better think about that.
Thanks for the tip, RD
