Getting better
Hello,

I'm in the process of weeding down a bit. I have a guitar I have tried to set up for slide, but I find that I never play it - I'm just not a slide player obviously, and my '97 American strat gets all my strat work these days. (plus I have six other guitars that keep me busy) :D

It's a medium blue Mexican strat with a custom, non-Fender neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Frets are good, electronics work fine. Bridge needs to be re-set, as it's coming up out of the body. Action is set high but can easily be set lower. Pickguard is white, three-ply, and it's starting to rise slighly near the neck pickup. Tuners are non-Fender also - if I were keeping this, I'd replace them because they start the strings a little too high for the nut that's on there now.

Because of these flaws, I'm only asking $50, plus $20 for careful packing and shipping in the continental US of A. I think it's more than a fair price, so I'm pretty firm on it. This guitar is perfect as a slide or backup guitar, and at that price how can ya go wrong - you could sell the pickups for more than $50, I am sure.

OR, if you have something you could part with and want to trade, I'd consider that, too.

If you're interested, you can respond here, pm me or shoot me an email at chrisave@tampabay.rr.com.
