what are some good mic options for recording extremely aggressive vocals and low tuned guitar cabs for a death metal band?

On a budget? I'd probably grab an Audix i5. It's a nice alternative to a SM57, a little brighter and crisper and slightly less middy, which you'll probably dig for extreme metal on a mic cab.
For vocals, if "extremely aggressive" means growled, then an airy top end and a natural, clear, organic vocal response probably aren't at the top of your list of demands. I'd just stick with the Audix. The marginal improvement dropping a couple hundred on a better vocal mic would bring probably aren't going to be worth it for the style of vocals you're capturing.

There is nothing wrong with an SM57...9 times out of ten if you have an artist that you like thier sound...it was produced using one.

For your kind of sound, SM57 or SM58. The advantage is, the singer can hold the mic while he growls......

For the vox I hear that the EV RE-20 is popular for that type. I would would try a kick mic or like someone else said the I5 or 57.
On the guitar, I always choose the I5 over the 57. But I also like the Senn 421. It is a great mic also for a bass cab. It has a 5 position roll off switch. On the heavy guitar tone I always use the selection of the most low cut.

To be fair, I too prefer the 57 to the i5 by a hair. But most of the more "metal" guys do seem to prefer it - it's a little brighter which allows you to position it a little closer to the edge of the cone for a thicker, smoother sound, and a little more scooped in the mids which if you're after the mid-scooped metal thing is probably a plus. The 57, meanwhile, does have a little more midrange to it, but also just seems to sound "crunchier" overall. I don't like it much for leads, but it's just a very natural sound for a guitar.
