Mesa Boogie Mark III guitar head, long.
This is where the crunch on Master of Puppets and ..And Justice for All came from. Good crunchy sound, good for metal bands. Actually, good for just about anyone.
Cosmetically its a little rough, but sound wise it rips. Could probably use a tube change in the next few months, but thats not a big deal at all. I change my tubes every year or so, its easy.
100 watt all tube, class A/simulclass... 60/100 watt switch
3 modes
built in graphic eq
direct send
effects send and return
Its a loud bastard, too.
Should still be some info on the mesa site, as well as downloadable manuals you can look at.
I'll take $750, you pay shipping. Get a good cabinet and you have fat tones.
Like I said, it looks a tad rough, cosmetically, but thats not whats important, its how you sound. :) This is the perfect amp for someone needing good crunchy rythym and lead sounds, it tracks to tape very well, and is a good live rig, too. If you suffer from poor dirty tone going to tape, this would make your recordings much better. (trying to sound like a salesman, only being honest!) :)
It goes to Ebay in 10 days if no one wants it. Theres a Mesa Mark III combo going for $1200 on ebay right now, but its a combo... its auction ends today.
Peace,
Paul
