The only way to really measure dbs on the FD-4, is to meter your monitors. Are you using flat response monitors. And even then, dbs are a measurement of loudness. The FD-4 is only send a signal. The amp you are using to push the monitors is generating the sound. The measurement is only a function of what we hear and you can crank power amps until the dbs are off the scale and break ear-drums. Are you, perhaps, thinking of what signal is coming out of the FD-4 rather than dbs?
