mc50mkII initialize problem?

Has anyone had any experience with this unit,i'm trying to initialize the floppy disk so i can save but i keep coming up with an error screen with every disk i try to initialize.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
Gotta use the DD disks, HD won't work, nor will SD. Also make sure that the write protect is OFF. .
