mBox L/R? Simplest question ever!

this is going to make me sound completely stupid, but after buying my digidesign mBox (1st gen) i still dont know which 1/4" outputs & inputs are left & right!

does anyone know which ones are left & right?

is 2 right and 1 left? or...

this would really help me out!

Hi, I always call 1 left and 2 right, comes from my analog days where channel 1 of the desk was on the left hand side.

However in the digital world you would probably have to set up channel 1 as left and 2 as right in the mixing software depending on the software you are using.

Hey there

In your I/O setup window, you'll have only 2 inputs for the MBox (1 stereo group with 2 mono sub groups)

witzendoz is correct: input 1 will normally be your left input channel, input 2 will be the right input channel
