We have a guest room that's about 25'x15'. It' s basically just being used to store beds and other junk.
It's got thick shag carpeting. That fake cork-looking panel ceiling that you see in most business offices (the name escapes me). Three sides of the room are painted brick walls (it's a basement living room).
We store two queen sized beds in that room.
I am wondering if I can just make a mattress fort around my DAW area. Would this be an effective solution? As it would be cheaper than buying those large "wall" foam panels from Auralex.
Or should I just spend the money on four of those Auralex "wall" panels that fit together to create a portable iso booth?
-thanks.
