I tend to now put much effort in most of my tracks becuase There for nothing more then internet amusement unless i decide to put together an album or something..
now the above formular wont work as good as a million dollar studio studio but if you keep at it, it will land u close..
my example, well I just finished A track that my friend sang.. I think its a really nice track, very mellow, hes not the perfect singer but he did well on this.. My hat is off to him..
It is called slipping away..

now it has a lengthy intro lol so be patient.. Now the beat was given to me along with vocals as seperate mp3 files.. NOT .WAV's.. SO there were restrictions.. I had to bring the thump back to the beat as well as draw the muddiness out of the beat and add hi's back to it to give it the clearer cleaner sound.. For the circumstances the track was done under, the results really do make me happy.. I dont know about yall.. Maybe you can hear something I cant but take a listen..
Also keep in mind thats the 128kbps mp3 version.. And he recorded on his mic.. IF he would have recorded with my mic, the vocals would be a little crisper and nicer.. hope you enjoy.. I did..
