Ok, Sweety,
I have a question for you, if you can take time away from pulling wings off of flies to answer.
I know you are not a 14 year old kid, so i can't use peurile jejuneness as an excuse for your behavior around here. So what is your motivation?
Unlike some others, I don't doubt your credentials or your expertise. I could perhaps understand someone who wouldn't care to share their hard-won professional knowledge with the great non-dues paying unwashed, even though, fortunately, many others even more expert than yourself do not feel that way. But you are more than willing to share - and you manage to consistently find a way of doing so in a style that is obnoxious, insulting, and inconsiderate. Even when you make excellent points, you are careful to couch them in ad hominem attacks and egotistical ravings.
To what end? Are you so socially inept that the only way you can interact is to put others down? Is your life so void of real accomplishment and relationships that this is actually fulfilling and pleasureable to you?
You claim that your professional personality is so charming and humorous that your clients seek you out for those aspects alone. So why the Mr. Hyde act in here? Do you need a release from a reservoir of twisted poison inside of you so that you can maintain that charming front to your clients?
I know there are a lot of people who create many internet personas, kind of as a hobby, source of amusement, and psychological experiment. Is this what you are doing?
Whatever it is, do you think that if your real goal was to convince people of your primary argument - to use professional engineers and not attempt home recording - that this particular tack you have taken is effective?
Many of us, including Blue Bear, have made compelling arguments for using a professional mastering engineer. Most of the time, this was done without name calling, insulting anyone's ancestry, or acting like we were God's gift to the world. And in some cases, those reasoned arguments may have even convinced others.
Do you really think that the way in which you present your ideas would convince anyone to change their ideas or behavior? You're obviously too smart to believe that, so that likely leaves the conclusion that you are a bored, bitter, antisocial personality who really needs to get a life. And all the professional accomplishments in the world, in your case, apparently do not a fulfilling life make. Especially in the ethical/spiritual sense.
