Hi guys,
1) I playback my mixes in winamp. In the winamp eq visualisation, most of my songs have the high ends missing. The lowest band can always be seen 'bouncing', some of the mids are, but the high-end is always zero. All the levels never reach peak level. How do I boost up my highs?
By ear, the cymbals and hihats seem bright enough. Should I go back to fix each individual track and make them brighter?
2) The way i compress my songs is to open up the final wav file in Sound forge. I then use Graphics Dynamics to Limit the file (to a certain level), and checking the "auto gain compensate" box. Is the method correct and acceptable?
