Somebody over on the MusicPlayer.com Expert Forums Guitar forum posted a rhythm track he made, posted an example of himself improvving over it, and asked others to give it a shot. I liked the track, so I downloaded it and plugged in the ol' Hohner fake Steinberger through my POD and took a crack at it. It came out pretty well despite an occasional clam. No edits or nothing except a fade in and out at the beginning and end.

sounds good! I would have liked the guitar a notch louder.. whatever a notch is..

Nice guitar work!

Very psychedelic!

I didn't care much for the repetitive nature of the track but then, you didn't do that part of the rhythm section so, I can't blame you for that!:D

You guitar work sounded fine in the mix and your playing style reminded me of Carlos Santana and a few others from the late 60's, early 70's.

Thanks for the music! It's a nice way to wake up on a cold September morning.

Cheers! :)

B.SABBATH, thanks for listening.

Whatever happened to our HR Challenge collab? :(

Ghost, thanks too (I think.. psychedelic? 60's/70's? Hmmm...)

Sounds good AlChuck, you're a smooth player for an improv like this, good timing / feel etc.

Nice tone and phrasing, man! I too would have liked the guitar up a little.
