making wave file and tarnsferrign it to another partition

Can make a wav file and send it to another partition, let's say in a brand new song.. This is for the Tascam 2488 neo by the way.. in length take Line 1 from a song in partition 1 and put it in new song on Partition 2 Can that be done.

Yes it can be done. You have to export the track. Then import it to the other song on the other partition.
