hey there guys..
i have a mackie onyx 1620 with soundcard..during all this 3 years i'm using this mixer i have a big problem wich i never solved!
i'm asking if anyone it this forum has the same problem, and if it's possible to give me this solution!

Sometimes during the work, the connection between the mixer and the computer is lost and an hi-frequence comes out with no brake..

Yes sorry I didn't see this post sooner.

This is a VERY common problem with the Mackie Onyx firewire solutions. I've had it all the time. Honestly I wish I could say I found a fix with any of my 3 PCs. The thing is, some PCs just HATE those drivers....

The problem comes with DPC Latency. Download this, and tell me if your into the red ever? http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml I'm almost 100% sure you will be.

With my latest computer, I had issues, and please see this thread here for my fix:

A week after doing that though, the problems stopped completely... I have no idea why. It seems completely random. I no longer need to do what is listed in that thread. However, you probably will. haha.

Good luck!
