Mackie Onyx Firewire not syncing to computer

I have just ordered a new Texas Instument Firewire card for my computer. I have already installed all of the drivers mentioned on this site. Do any of you know what my next move should be should that not resolve my Sync challenges, they are so inconsistant now.

Im using an Onyx 400F. Could you describe your sync problems more in detail. Or are they allready fixed; it has been some days since you posted?
