I stated earlier that my previous Mackie VLZ 3 802 stopped working, I only had it a year. Today I picked up a earlier model the Mackie 1202 VLZ Pro for 135 pounds on E Bay.
To my eyes and ears its looks and feels like a solid piece of equipment.
I understand thease earlier models were made in the States and the newer VLZ 3 series are made in China.
The 1202 I feel sounds much better to the Mackie 802 VLZ 3 , to my ears its definatly better quality and I spoke to a Mackie dealer earlier and he said to me , he admits that the older mackie's are built for more durabilty.
I would stay well away from the vLZ 3 series personally from my experiance.
Plus its does'nt come with those silly wall wart power supply.
