Well-known member
no one lives forever
yeah everyone must die
and I don't care, I am prepared
I am not scared of the unknown
and I don't believe in fate
but we don't have any control

nothing lasts forever
yeah everything will fade away
and we won't be remembered
for anything we do or say
we are not important
and nothing matters

<chorus>
now you're gone
now you're gone
and I'm waiting here for you

eventually you will be forgotten
and the earth will be no more
and the only thing that really matters
is the life you live, and the love that you explore

<chorus>

you were the only one who could
turn me on, so turn me on

IMHO drop the last two lines. you got a theme going about not bein scared of dying, etc, etc, then those last two lines just almost change the theme of the song. its a good start, maybe just go through it with a fine tooth comb and remove some of the cliches.

personally, I liked the last 2 lines. I thought they kind of added a bite to the rest of the lyrics, making you see them in a different light rather than trodding the same line.

I think you could lose "nothing lasts forever / yeah everything will fade away" as it's so cliched that the words kinda lose their effect.

overall I liked it - I'd like to hear the music that goes with it though.

I was trying to keep it clean, but replace "yeah" with "fucking"
In both places that I use "yeah"

To be honest i didnt really dig it. I dont know why I even looked at it. I though it might some tongue in cheek thing but no... you actually wrote pointing out that we're all gonna die and who's gonna care anyway.
I wouldnt ever actually take the time to listen to a song called 'nobody lives forever (everyone must die)...

Not having a dig, just my opinion!

Could be good, everything is hinged on the performance on this one.

I really like these lyrics - they kinda give me the same feeling as the song 'when the world ends' by dave matthews. you give a good reflection of hoplessness, and lack of control.

yeah youah pwabably wight... I'll post a recorded version sometime
