i know it's al'stupid... but I could not help it... by accident I've ran into that section on e-bay... and actually "discovered" the whole lot of potential useful stuff in there for building tube gear etc... nice steel for enclosure... some knobs are cool too
here are examples... just imagin couple of transformers and a few tubes on top, some knobs, lights and of course VUs
here's a stereo power amp
this would make a nice single channel preamp/cmpressor
guitar/bass head
a stand for what have you, like can hold speaker cab on the bottom and some other gear on top
power supply block
another single channel pre or something ...kinda' exotic shapes

huh! this one has top-grade dust-cover for a "big-boy"-style machine, that have not smelled a fresh tape in years, just like this one, have not spat a bullet in years, nor has a chance to do so, but is in service to be used as a display item just to show off the "miscle" for a client.
