i want to know to use the LINE TOOLS? is it control the volum, but how to use it?

Are you using SX? If so, look for the button on the top toolbar with the pencil on it. Hold down the left mouse button on that guy and you'll get a pull down menu of your different option for the editing tool (sine wave, parabola, paintbrush, line, pencil, etc...).
You can use any of these tools to edit automation among other things. Open the volume envelope for your audio track and use the line tool to draw a straight line fade out or swell or whatever you want...

hey , i use cubase sx 2.0, but there's only 240 pages in the manul
