i've been piecing together my home studio and i've been told the line 6 ux2 would be great for my situation with recording on my computer. im not exactly sure what this gear does other than its a pre-amp with phantom power w/ guitar and mic inputs.
i wanna record solo stuff with acoustic, bass, computerized drums, and vocals, with the occasional electric guitar track.
also some people have told me to get the new pod x3 guitar processor im familiar with the first pod but im not sure what the new one does i know it too has mic and guitar inputs.
if anybody could help me understand more about this gear and what the difference is and which one would be the right choice for my situation i'd greatly appreciate it.
