Your welcome. Really, though,the process of building a guitar is just a lot of small steps, most of which are pretty simple. The only hard part is not messing up any off the steps. But I mean, if you are carving a neck, just take away all of the wood that dosen't look like a neck. If you are a player, you know what a neck should feel like.

I strung up the guitar on Friday, and have been playing it all weekend. There are a few issues, but it sounds great. The ash body with the mahogany neck-thru seems to give it a stinging sound, without losing the warmth you would normally get from a mahogany body. I am extremely pleased with the sound.

No, but between the place (between the bridge and the pickup ring), with the strings and the hardware in the area, you will not notice it without a close inspection.
