i think the lead vocal is too dry now, i don't remember it being that way before...did you change something? the harmony that comes in at the end of the intro doesn't blend so well. i would leave it out. ah, it's here in the first verse too. think the drums could come up a db, probably too far down now. i think i preferred the first mix but with the drums down a touch. did you change the phaser-type (maybe it was that reverse pad) sound during the breakdowns? i recall it being more "windy" and "flangey".

it's still a great song no matter how you mix it. it's really all personal preference at this point.

I think I left some of the EQ off the lead vocal by accident... ;) I'll get another mix up tomorrow if possible. I also preferred the first mix.

If you are willing to put the time in, your double could be adjusted to coincide better with the lead vocal. There are plugins like "Vocal Align", but I prefer to do it by hand, either by cutting and moving small sections, or using the time stretch in my daw when syllable lengths don't match.

I do a fair amount of that by hand. Might need to do more here.

I agree with Andru the vocal is too dry now. In the first mix it's wetter but a little low in volume. Now it's sitting louder and dryer -- it sat better in the first mix. The kick drum was too loud in the first mix, especially during the quiet parts, but now it's too low. You should take a break and revisit in a few days. The first mix was really close and imo only needed the kick a bit lower during the quiet parts and maybe like 1db gain on the vocal. if you have that mix still i'd go back to it and just make those changes and leave the rest.
