Hehe I have the same Alesis board.

I really like the live room, reminds me of an old live show gig place. Great name and place!

Thanks! It actually used to be a Masonic Lodge, and over the past few years it's been used as a ballroom and a venue. Now I run it mostly as an acoustic venue on weekends.

So,ummm, what's up with the Motorola portable radio speaker microhpone?

::Shrug:: why not? Might be useful at some point. Such artists as Mike Patton have used them, and there was one available to me for free, so I figured I might as well get it.

New master control, I plan on replacing the CRT with the same model of LCD sometime, as it seems the CRT reinforces the bass on the right speaker more then the LCD does for the left speaker  . Probably will get another VTB-1, and add maybe an ART DMPA. The video monitor on the far right is my spy cam monitor to downstairs, the camera is not in its final placement, still trying to figure out something portable, yet light weight, yet fast enough to get right with out to much fuss, yet some thing I can place anywhere in the two downstairs tracking rooms. Oh and I have the wireless camera and its monitor on X-10 appliance modules, so turning the camera on and off is all by remote upstairs, (or down stairs. as the lighting and everything else down there is by X-10 remote.) The camera is not a X-10 one, as X-10 has a night vision camera but no infrared LEDs, so I wasn't sure if it was going to see well enough in a room that has a black ceiling, and only four wall sconces. This camera sees very well in the dark.

+1 on the yoda.

stay tuned forwhen I post my set up in a few weeks... you'll see the same ;)

Cool SRR!

I have been wanting to do a video monitor set up like you describe. Although for me I am only one room away so it's to tuff. I played with putting a window in, but I want to sell this house :o Next house will be very studio friendly and I'm cutting loose! :D Hopefully a full underground basement. Either that or a bigger house in the country.

I don't think I've posted my newest pic with new monitors sooooo.

Here's Mine

And part 3...

I didn't "pose" anything, it's just as it was left last time I was up there noodling with my guitar. The amps are mostly all covered, but there's a Eden Metro and 210xlt, a Premeir CLub Bass 160, and a minty Ampeg VT-22 that G.E. Smith wanted to buy once.

You can see in the "downstairs" photos that I still have some 703 to hang. I will eventually buy a bunch more, but I welcome any advice on where to hang what I have left....

Hi. It's a M-audio Axium 49.

They are weighted and velocity sensetive. I'd look it up on the web for the specs. I am not a big keyboard guy. I wish I still had my old synth though so I didn't have the latecy issues;) Nothing bad against the controller. It is a controller :D I think it cost me $250.00 I went with the 49 key because of the other controllers that come on it, Transport etc.

It is a pretty solid feeling board.

His head looks really big for his body! What type of doggy is he?

Thanks Gotry:)

He's a Boston Terrier. He's growing fast, But they stay pretty small and keep the big head :D Sleeps threw tracking & mixing sessions with out a peep :)

Real chang for me. Had a couple greyhouds until last year :( Decided to go with a more protable model this time ;)

Alright... here's my current control room. I just pulled a ton 'o stuff out. 3 ADATs, a 24E console extension, a number of entry level compressors and almost all the outboard FX units I had. I do most all my mixing and processing in the computer now as I can do more with the plugins. I've been expanding the mic closet, and now I'm working on getting a collection of discrete preamps.

The old setup "looked" much more impressive... but I just didn't need all the extra gear, and now I have some workspace back.
