Here's my little analogue studio. Just a Tascam 488mkii on a keyboard stand. Upper rack has an 8 channel preamp and Sony wm-475 mix down deck. Then an old JVC receiver to run the Realistic Minmus 7's. I'm just starting out and wanted to do analogue on the cheap(ish, that 488mkii will run about $400 these days). Its fairly compact and sounds pretty good. I have a Boss ME-50 that's doing most of the outboard effects. I bought 100 20-minute tapes from National Audio Company a year ago, just before they ran out of chrome tapes. and cause of a mixup later I got another 100 tapes. They give 5ish minutes which is plenty for most of my songs. I can then label those to keep track of them. Using this as my only recording system at the moment. Cheers.

I need to get me some more magical stuff and a lava lamp...I do have a late 80's Tesla type globe that is audio activated with purple lightning bolts in it.. I do need to get me a better chair fo sho!
