wow, that is pretty damn nice room setup.

Thanks DM.

The acoustic treatment has been a long time comming. Was going to DIY, but never had the necessary time to drive to Illinois to pick up the OC 703, then actually build it.

The room sounds different. I'm going to have to get use to listening with no flutter echo and (more) accurate bass response. Been listening to CD's and watched a couple movies down here to get aclimated.

So what should I get next? I'm thinking of clouds, then a KSM 141 stereo pair, SM 7B & a hybrid mixer/control surface.

Nice - I'd put those corner traps right up to the ceiling, though - that 3-way-corner is a primary bass-reflection spot.

Definite on the ceiling clouds. First thing I put up (after corners) and mad an immediate huge change.

BTW, what is that bass? Love the headstock. Does it play well?

It's a Epi Thunderbird Gothic. I'm not really a bassist, so I don't have a lot of experience with different basses. But I like it, and I like the tone.

Looks like you're done.

It would be really nice if you uploaded smaller size images so people around the world with slower internet can see what you've done. The site doesn't resize like other sites might do.

I think I've heard this before. I'll try to remember next time.

Very nice room & gear Fuzz.....very nice....the treatment looks like some kind of designer decoration that actually looks great man!!!! I'll be moving before long, & I've got some rockwool, I'll just need to make some panels & cover it for a DIY thing...Again, looks great!!!

Off topic: Dude, I've got a Randall ISO cab like yours, & can't get a decent tone at all out of it...Anything you can suggest??? I've got lots of speaker choices & a few different mics....While the high end seems fine, the mid/low mids are really boxy/honky sounding no matter what I do to 'em....Any help????

Thanks man. For the ISO cab I use a shure beta 57.

I must have some error with my setup here. I only have one pic of your new treatment. The other posts only come up with...

Ok, something really fucked up here for me.

..... Well now I have to know what they came up with!

Really nice studio fuzzsniffvoyage!

I got Primacoustic stuff as well back in September. It's pretty incredible!

My wife picked up some art for the studio at Hobby Lobby, I think they're pretty cool.

Very Nice! Can you get her to call my wife and give her pointers on buying artwork?

This looks great. It makes me wish I could go back 10 years and re-construct my own studio. I would have been more careful about the placement of the observation windows. All of my windows were set about 6 or 8 inches to high, OK if you are standing, but not optimal for a seated drummer or other seated musician.

Am i seeing this right? Are you framing over the carpet?

Also correct me if i am wrong but isn't there an air return right there? inside your room? I hope it doesn't affect your heating bills??!!! :thumbs up:

Aside from all that i like your set up Moon!!!!
