"Recording" in particular, mahogany on mahogany body
has to be one of the most crystaline clean sounds ever & the decade control is unbelieveable. Of course people familiar with this axe will know that it has lo impedance pick ups designed for going direct into a mixer (with no phantom power!!!!!). In my experience it doesn't sound that great through an amp but as a source of studio clean sounds & a particularly nice country-esque sound it rules
does anybody have one of these LP "recordings" & has anybody tried the bass model??
I'm not a particular fan of the les paul although I used a custom for years I find the strat more diverse for what I tend to do live & now I have a variaxe 700 so I can have whatever I want
Les Paul, damn he can play
