During the last song, in Mid-lyric, he turned around and spewed all over his bass amp. I don't know why, i guess he didn't wanna barf on the girls. I woulda barfed in the girls. Our guitar player was drunk too he ripped off his shirt at that point and threw his SG on the ground. So the song ended with me just playin the drums. After that, we drank mad dog before every show! I can stand mad dog 20 20, but old english. You might as well mix cough medicine, and piss.

Well fella you've now had a pop at the two people on this board who could definitely help you with your problem. It was in that thread that you demonstrated you have no idea about guitars and little more about how to learn some more about them.
If I had replied in that thread it would have been to tell you to seek some advice from a good guitar tech because you have demonstrated that you have a lack of knowledge of the subject.
Once again, you have no idea what guitars I like or dislike or what my "taste" in guitars is, you never will. The internet food fight started when you held the pie up and had it shoved in your face. I'm not telling you to like or dislike any guitar just asking you to stop talking shit like in the posts above. Maybe then you might get some answers to your questions.

since I already own several LP and several LP copys that play better than the original LP's I would go for the Ric.
Rics have their own distinctive tone
I love my 4001 but I really would like to own a six string Ric some day.

As someone who has loved and owned (and probably will again) Rics and has more than enough LPs currently on hand, plus SGs, Teles, Strats, etc., and disregarding the OP's choice of two guitars that are vitually polar opposits, I can honestly say that someone who would post the following one sided bullshit........

Ive since replaced the pick guard and knobs on my 350v63 to a different John Lennon era. I just like the way it looks
LPs are obviously great but never forget that Rics make up a HUGE part of the early history of Rock and Roll. There are many guitars that can sound like an LP but only a Rickenbacker can sound like a Rickenbacker IMO

I couldn't give a rats arse about your opinions or your poor understanding of the mechanics and history of the guitars you are praising and knocking. What I do care about is trolls in here. If you want to troll go to the cave you can have lots more fun there. If your not trolling then you need to do some serious attitude adjustment because there a lot of people here who know there stuff and your going have them piling on you pretty quick if you carry on as you are.
Your posts are becoming tiresome and just another indication of why this place has been slipping over the last few months. It's hardly worth contributing anymore.
