Vocals are a bit low for my taste. Everything else sounds good to me. Kick drum could come up maybe.

Love the Duane Allman guitar tone and licks.

Thanks - I played a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS using the humbucker. Latest addition to Mike's arsenal. I'm liking the tones too and I may have to consider one when I need a new one. Played through a Marshall JVM210H on mid gain channel.
We can check out the vocal level - were you referring to the lead vocal or the backups?
 
I agree the vocals and kick could come up a bit. The hat could also come up. Guitar sounds great, really like the tune overall. just my 2 cents. Snare sounds pretty good too

You did one like this before. This one: I'm not hearing the bass or the kick very clearly at all. What you've got sounds good, but what happens when you bring the bass and kick into the picture?

Hmm, I hear lots of bass and kick on my system as well as headphones. What are you monitoring on?
 
For me there's a little too much snare (shock horror).
Great guitar.
Bass sounds like it could use a just a little bit of definition as the botom end rises up with the low notes but there's not enough further along the neck.
When the bvox come in the centre of the soundstage feels crowded.
Great work on the new tune gents.
 
Listening today after resting my ears... The snare is a little hot, and you're right the kick is somewhat low. I still think the bass is about right but we'll see what others think. We will have to try and eq the snare/kick as the drums are on a stereo file not individual. BG vocals are at 9 and 3 so they should be giving some semblance of stereo, so I'm not sure maybe we forgot to pan the reverb on those tracks too.
 
Sounds Really good. At first i thought the vocals needed to come up but by the end of the song they seemed to be louder. in the first part of the song, i could hear singing but couldn't distinguish words. great tune!
 
Moondance - agreed it has a semblance with that. Not intentional though.
Bass - maybe we can eq a bit of highs to make it pop a bit.
Vocals - we did automate them a db or 2 lower on the first verse as they seemed to jump out of the mix there. Maybe that was too much....
 
To me, the guitar is stepping all over the vox. And most everything is straight up the middle. If you can move the guitars out to the sides and open up the middle, the vox should come right through.

I hear both kick and bass, but they are sharing a lot of the same spectrum and it's difficult to distinguish between them.

I like the Van Morrison feel.

EQ, or maybe a distortion plug on the bass. Or put it on the shelf for a couple days before you tackle it again - you're probably going crazy with all this advice.

Probably better to wait a day or so then remix based on all the comments
 
Wow!!! So clean!! The guitars sound amazing and the vocals very nice.
 
Great tune. I get the Moondance vibe on it and the vocal reminds me of Clapton. (I mean that as a compliment) I agree with what has been said above, Chili was on the nail I think with spreading the guitars a bit and leave the centre for the vocals.

Really good tune and performances though. i really enjoyed the tune, several times :thumbs up:
