One Hit Wonder
You can tell whether changes have been made to a project by looking for an asterisk (*) after the project name in the SONAR title bar.

You guys may already know this, but I didn't. :o The above is from the Sonar online help manual. If you open an existing project, you can tell whether you have done any work on it by looking at the project name. When you first open it, it will be Song1.cwp. The minute you make any changes to it, it becomes Song1.cwp*.

Pretty cool for those brain dead moments some of us have occasionally. ;)

The same is true for default templates in effects (like Reverb, etc.). If you choose one of the default templates in the drop down for an effect and then make a a change to one of the effect's settings manually it will put an asterisk beside the default template name.

This is the case with almost every other software as well, not just the music ones. I think it helps you remember to do ctrl+s every 2 seconds:)

I save so much, it's like I've developed a nervous tic.

Still, I'm not going to try to break the habit. My butt has been saved too many times by it.
