LD drum overheads

i've used the NTK as a mono overhead on drums. i like it because it's simple, but does anyone have any suggestions for a pair of LD overheads, or even just one that you really like? for some reason i think i like the sound of the LD instead of the SD on the overheads.
 
I don't normally need to mic drums but the pair of V93Ms that I use for ORTF ensemble recordings might serve the purpose well and economically. They are very detailed, though some would regard them as too bright
 
AKG C414's are quite popular in that application, as are Shure KSM44's and AT 4050's.
 
I've used a pair of CAD Equitek E200s as drum overheads with great results....they are a bit warmer, fuller, richer sounding than what I usually use as OHs (Rode NT3s)...
